My approach: I care about the people I work with and empathise with the customers and audiences I serve. With a passion for sharing bidding best practice, unlocking creativity and enabling writers to produce compelling copy, I'm always looking to innovate and improve.
My experience: Highlights of my 25 year career include:
- Leading bid teams for a decade; achieving a 100% win rate for the last six years
- Developing a specialism in framework bidding; significant wins include Scape, Procurement Hub, Pagabo, Southern Construction Framework, Crown Commercial Services, Department for Education, Department of Health and Ministry of Justice
- Providing collaborative consultation advice to enable best practice bidding; 3 in 4 win rate on bids supported, with 9/10 user satisfaction
- Winning Strategic Proposals’ Excellence Award for my “exceptionally calm, creative and flexible approach to leading winning bids during the pandemic” [Jon Williams; MD, Strategic Proposals]
- Earning Willmott Dixon's exclusive Above & Beyond Award for “exceptional talent, commitment and sheer hard work in resecuring business-critical frameworks" [John Waterman; COO, Willmott Dixon]
- Honing my writing, editing and presentation skills through 15 years in communications and editorial roles
- Empathetically building high performing teams in both the public and private sectors, including during and after major restructures
My interests: Away from the bustle of work, you’ll find me enjoying the challenge of creative writing, singing in a choir, practising yoga and being there for my family and friends.
